My beaded goddess for September is named Akina, which is a Japanese name meaning ‘spring flower’ and is appropriate in the Southern Hemisphere as we start to celebrate the warmer weather and look forward to summer.

Lovely, definitely ‘spring’
Lovely. I especially like the flower in her hair.
The colours are so fresh for spring and the variety of flowers looks great.
With this piece, spring can’t be anything else but beautiful.
